This installation was done on a '92 Lincoln Town Car with the 4.6L engine. The processor was mounted on part of the cowling that mounts to the firewall. Note the processor is, again, as close as possible to the venturi injector nozzle. The venturi nozzle is center to the square and center to the bore and the red mark is not seen but it is facing away from the incoming draft! The engine is running at the time of the photo and note that the injection going in is fast and furious. The air handle is set at the 7:00 o'clock position. Photo compliments of customer in Texas.

This is a '93 VW Polo, 1.2L European. Note that the processor has been mounted on the firewall and the injection line has a smooth ride into the point of entry, right behind the throttle body. Typical installation on a '00 Toyota Tacoma, 3.4L engine. This installation is utilizing the Charcoal Canister Purge Vacuum Circuit. Note the vacuum tee is right up against the intake nipple of the manifold, making for a very efficient point of entry. Note also, that the processor is as close as possible to this vacuum tee. This is a standard Aquatune unit.

This installation shows an AquaTune on a '99 Ford Escort with the 1.9L engine. Note the processor has been mounted as close to the point of entry as possible. Due to next generation of AquaTune systems with and without the downstream generators, it has become necessary for a price increase. The new systems are more efficient and, consequently, more costly to produce.

Which kit is right for you?

The standard AquaTune is utilized on vehicles '96 or older and with this kit, these vehicles will achieve everything that we promise. The AquaTunePlus kit is r ecommended for vehicles '97 and newer and on Honda's that are '95 and newer. These newer vehicles computers (OBDII) are more sensitive and this kit does a better job in communicating with these vehicles to both read and receive the newer, wider range of fuel values. This unit utilizes a downstream generator that must be hooked up to a 12-volt power source. Only two wires to hook up, one positive and one negative. When in high altitude locations and for ALL flex-fuel vehicles, the AquaThrustPlus units are recommended.
